Rule of Thirds
This is an example of the Rule of Thirds because the cheetah's head space is not close to the edges of the image. The tangents and edge magnetism are avoided as the main subject is the cheetah's head. The cheetah also has look space, the cheetah looks in the distance towards the right giving it the space in the picture to look.

This image of a surfer looking towards the sunset is an example of the Rule of Thirds. The picture avoids tangents and edge magnetism as the surfer is placed in an area that is not close to the edges. He is given enough head space to be able to have look space for him to look at the sunset.
In this image we see the mountains in the distance, this is an example of the Rule of Thirds because of the placement of the mountains and the landscape. We can see the mountains sit in the middle section of the image with the sky sitting alone in the top third, and the landscape with the shrubbery mainly in the bottom section.
