Principle: Movement

 This image is an example of movement, we see a lady standing in front of a subway train moving at a ridiculously fast speed. Due to its speed, we just see a blur, and that blur effect gives the viewer an understanding of movement in a still image. The stand-still lady shows a great contrast to the speed of the train as she is the only thing in the picture that is not blurry.

This is another example of movement, however in this example the image is moving with the car. The car is moving at a rapid speed and its surroundings are blurred out as the car moves. The image is level with the car and moving alongside it which is why the surroundings are left blurred out.

This image shows a different example of movement, instead of the blur effect to show movement this image shows a still shot of waves in movement. Some of the waves are crashing in but the image shows right before the waves are able to crash. The viewer is able to see the movement of the waves as they know what will happen, they know that the waves is going to crash.

This image shows an example of the Golden Rule of Design, we see the middle of the origin being the people walking down the sidewalk. That area seems to be cluttered with most of the stuff going on in the image being on that right side.   In this project, I had to outline a picture of me and make it a cartoon version. At first, I wasn’t sure how this would turn out because I was new to using the pen tool but as I started using it throughout the project, I ended up getting the hang of it and understanding how to make some objects over others to make this image come together. I zoomed in closely to outline all the small features in the image. Once the outlining was done, I used the eyedropper tool to get the colors from the original image to the outlines. I enjoyed the entire process of outlining and putting it all together, once the colors were in, being able to see it all as a complete image was very rewarding. I didn’t think it would have come out as good as it did. I enjoyed seeing how much the little details matter and how much they added to the entire image. Principle: Proportion

 In this picture we see and lady that looks to be holding a gigantic leaf, however, this is an illusion. The lady is standing at a distance while the leaf is being held closer to the camera making it seem as if it is an enormous leaf. This is an example of proportion as there is the use of the leaf and the space between the two objects to make this picture. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Here is an image of an iceberg or an ice cap, it seems like a normal image until you pay extra close attention and then you would see a person on a kayak next to it. When you notice the person, you can now tell how massive this ice cap is compared to the human. Without the person next to it, you would think this is a normal sized object, but the person truly shows the size of it.
